Scrub Sponge FAQs

What can I use it for?

It’s perfect for everyday dish duty, scrubbing pots, pans, plates and utensils, even non-stick cookware. The loofah side handles grime, the cellulose side wipes it clean.

Is it safe for non-stick surfaces?

Yes. The natural loofah is tough on mess but gentle enough for non-stick cookware. Just avoid excessive pressure or scrubbing on delicate coatings.

How do I clean or sanitize it?

Easy, pop it into the dishwasher or boil it briefly in water. It dries quickly and is built to be reused again and again.

What is it made from?

Our scrub sponge is made entirely from plant-based materials: a natural loofah on one side, FSC-certified cellulose on the other, and cotton thread to hold it together. No plastic, no glue, no synthetic fillers.

How long does it last?

With regular use and proper care, each sponge lasts several weeks. Once it’s worn out, you can compost it at home, no landfill necessary.

Is it fully compostable?

Yes. Every part of the sponge is plastic-free and home compostable. Just cut it up into smaller pieces before composting to help it break down faster.
