How it works

Qleen Bee’s sheet locks them in before they transfer to other garments.

Usage

  • Place one sheet at the back of the drum
  • Add laundry and detergent as usual
  • Remove and dispose of sheet after the wash
  • For dark, intense or non-colourfast items, use two or more


Important Information

Some fabrics may release more dye than others.

  • For heavily dyed items, cotton, or non-colourfast garments, use two or more sheets
  • Always take care when mixing whites with dark or bold colours
  • New garments should be washed separately for the first 4–6 washes
  • For bedlinen, towels and denim, wash separately where possible
  • Effectiveness may vary if large amounts of dye are released

What do Colour Trap Sheets actually do?

They help stop colour run in mixed loads by catching loose dyes in the wash water before they transfer to other garments. Whites stay bright, colours stay crisp, and you get peace of mind.

Do I still need to separate colours?

You can finally be a little less careful. While we always recommend washing brand new garments separately for the first few washes, Qleen Bee Colour Trap Sheets make it safe to wash most colours and whites together in one load.

How many sheets should I use?

One sheet is perfect for a regular mixed load. For intense colours, large loads or non-colourfast garments, use two or more for extra protection.

Are they reusable?

No, each sheet is designed to trap and hold dyes during one wash cycle, then be disposed of. You’ll see the proof on the sheet when it’s done its job.

What are they made from?

They’re made from a soft, ultra-absorbent blend of cellulose and viscose, printed with non-toxic water-based ink. The dye-locking action comes from a clever binding agent that grabs loose colour in the water.

Are they compostable or recyclable?

The sheets are made from biodegradable fibres, but because they hold onto dyes after use, we recommend disposing of them in household waste. The outer packaging is fully recyclable.
